I Always Forget the Blog! - Life Update

Oh dear. I forgot the blog again for ages. I need to stop forgetting that it is here.  Anyway life update.

Where am I in the world. I am still unemployed and still looking for a job which I do day in and day out. Other than that I am at home trying to think of new ideas all the time. But hrmm things shall change once I find something. 

Writing. Finished Gift of the Goddess book two whoop. Just book Three to go. Which might end up as my Camp Nano Aug 2012 story or it might not. I'm thinking of doing Bound to Mageology so either way I will be writing something fun and fantasy. 

Other than writing and looking for a job I am still gaming alot. Mostly Rp on World of Warcraft or on Aion. Also building my massive tree home in Minecraft. My rp in WoW is centred on four charcters that I mainly rp on and a couple of alts.

First character is Ashlai Spannerbolt. She is a gnome priestess with a temper that usually ends up with someone getting a holy fire falcon punch to the face for calling her short. She is a mercenary for the guild The Free Company. 

Next is Hikina Shadowdream/Winterlight. She is a Night Elf rogue who is a demon hunters apprentice. She is a evil character but not by choice and is currently slated to die in a rp event which brings back my true evil character.

Nlyra Shadowdream/Winterlight. She is a Night Elf Priestess and is the mother of Hikina. A rather evil shade like shadow priest who loves to torture people mentally and cause people to turn on each other. Her daughter killed her but is on the way to being brought back by her old ally who is Hikinas teacher.  http://www.argentarchives.org/node/31554 - Nlyras Character page. Rilrae Daevion'lyr - http://www.argentarchives.org/Rilrae My first true non test rp character. It is a shame she is now dead in character. She is a Blood Elf.

Laniea Saeli'lyr - She is a Blood Elf mage. Ex apprentice and killer of Rilrae. She is based pretty much on Rilrae before Ril went crazy. She is a tough but fair Magistrix with a passion for bladedancing. - http://www.argentarchives.org/node/70551

Elerra Wildwisp - Night elf Druid. Druid of the Talon. Elerra is mty newest rp character and is currently having her story written.

I have a few other characters but they aren't full rp characters.

A Little Update on Things

Wow, Haven't posted on here in awhile. With the combination of looking for a job, Christmas and Nanowrimo I forgot my blog. 

So nanowrimo I got 176874 words. Not bad for a month of work, though it was Gift of the Goddess and not my other ideas ><. For now GotG is locked away in a folder not to be seen until I remember what I was going to do with it. 

After failing due to rejection after rejection I finally caved into my mothers idea of applying for Jobseekers. Who knows they might actually help me find something. I am currently spending day after day looking at job websites for photography/video/film and writing jobs but of course there are very little. So i am thinking of expanding my career ideas into advertising or something along them lines as I have seen quite a few graduate jobs for them. I have also thought about the teaching route but that does scare me a little. 

The lack of work has impacted my writing. I feel quite down and depressed from it all and have struggled to write anything since November.  I hope once i am out of the depressive phase I will be able to clear my head and get writing again. 

I am attempting to start either Bound to Mageology or Tabitha's Illusion some point this month. More on them in another post.

A Change to a Project and a Kitten called Noodles

I was planning to do Tabitha's Illusion as a script but after looking a the rough outline for the story and its arc I have decided to turn this in to a novel idea. Which means I now have three novels and a script to do. Yay writing I love you. 

Night will be left until after Christmas that is for sure. This being I spent more that 5 months on this project and would rather watch paint dry than tackle it as it has a lot of work needing done to it. 

Gift of the Goddess is also a next year job as I have spent pretty much a year working on it and feel like I have lost direction with it. 

Bound to Mageology will be my Nanowrimo choice but if I get a first draft of that done over November and December I will start work on Tabitha's Illusion. 

Okay 19 Days, 4 hrs and 10ish mins till Nanowrimo 2011...So I shall start the reveal for Bound to Mageology. And as a special treat to my blog I will also give some rough points about Tabitha's Illusion.

Tabitha's Illusion - Is going to be a novel surrounding the victorian era and a little witchcraft thrown in.

Bound to Mageology - A fantasy/Steampunk novel with Sky Pirates, Magic, A Dragon and a kitten called Noodles.

The Crazy Month of November Approachs. (Winter is coming)

Huzzah! 

New blog. Didn't like my old one so made a new one for my writing deeds and my general musing. Upon the pages of this blog I shall write about my writing projects, photography work and my job seeking and other general musing. 

First things first. Current writing projects:

Night - Script -

Reunited childhood friends flee across a rebel covered planet in hopes of evac. But with one of the two a highly trained killer will there be a chance for survival or will the two be caught or just caught up in the truth of the past that haunts them both. 

NIGHT has just had its first draft finished. I am now currently working on draft two but with November approaching this is now on standby. 

Gift of the Goddess - Novel - Nanowrimo 2010 Piece/camp Nanowrimo piece. - This novel is an on going novel that is yet to be finished it is also being placed on stand by until Nanowrimo is done and I feel like I want to work on this and not my newer pieces. 

GoTG Synopsis - What does a goddess with immortality and the world truly need? A young boy, heir to a dead and unwanted line want with a goddess? An outcast of her own people what does she look for in a goddess ran world? A child? Power? Death? Love? Any of these or none of these. It all depends on the Gift of the Goddess.

Tabitha's Illusion - Script - This is currently in the planning phase. It is only a rough idea. More to come on it in the future.

Nanowrimo 2011 - Nanowrimo is National Novel Writing Month. Where writers are challenged to write 50000 words of a fresh novel in a month. There might not be any prizes but I see it as a way of getting myself to write. It all kicks off November 1st at midnight. http://www.nanowrimo.org/
